I was lucky enough to be a Javelin member during the celebration of their 30th birthday. My role was to work with Art Director Cathal O’Flaherty to come up with a 3 pronged celebration, to focus on business, art and research.
Being a young person in the office, I wanted to show that we, as an agency, understood the people who will very soon run the country. The film became a focal point of our celebration, and the idea really wrote itself – get 30 30 year olds in a room and keep the camera rolling.
The research element was conducted over thousands of 30 year olds living in Ireland supported the claims of the people in the film. For our commerce element, we took 3 startups under our wing.
I was also heavily involved in the rebrand of Javelin that came before the launch of this campaign, as our existing branding was stale and stiff.
